Wyrick Robbins Ranked Among Most Active Law Firms in Nation

RALEIGH, NC—Wyrick Robbins ranked among the nation’s top 25 most active law firms, placing 22nd for the number of private equity and venture capital deals closed during 2011, according to Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst.  Last year, Wyrick Robbins closed a total of 105 deals – of those, 67 were venture capital deals and 38 were private equity.

"The Dow Jones ranking is a nice validation of our nationally recognized leadership in venture capital and private equity,” stated Jimmy Yates, Managing Partner of Wyrick Robbins.  “While an impressive recognition for any firm, it especially is for ours as the only firm in the top 25 with less than 100 attorneys.  This reinforces our belief that clients do not measure capabilities based on the number of offices or attorneys, but rather on the level of experience, expertise, and client service.”

While the publication does not rank law firms geographically by number of venture capital and private equity deals, the total deals Wyrick Robbins closed in 2011 would qualify for a #1 ranking among law firms based in the Southeast.
