Four Associates Join Wyrick Robbins
RALEIGH, NC—Wyrick Robbins is pleased to announce the recent addition of four associates.
Wes Gelb joins the firm’s Family Law practice area, bringing with him years of experience representing individuals in matters involving custody, support, and property distribution. Wes graduated, cum laude, from NC State. He received his law degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law. After graduating from Wake Forest, he began his legal career in Washington, DC, most recently working in one of the preeminent family law firms in the DC metropolitan area.
Andrew Gibbons joins the firm’s Capital Markets and Mergers and Acquisitions practice areas. He represents companies in their initial organizations and financings, mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting, and compliance matters. Andrew earned his J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University-Weatherhead School of Management. Andrew received his AB from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he majored in both Journalism/Mass Communications and Political Science.
Elizabeth Runyon joined the Healthcare practice area. She has represented hospitals, health care systems, academic medical centers, physician practice groups, clinical laboratories, and other health care providers in a variety of matters, including corporate and regulatory matters as well as litigation. Elizabeth represents clients in Certificate of Need litigation, involving the development of new health care facilities, the acquisition of major medical equipment, and the development of other new institutional health services. Elizabeth received her AB from Princeton University in Politics and Economics, and received her JD, cum laude, from the University of Florida, where she served on the Moot Court Executive Board.
Cullen Stafford joins the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Labor and Employment practice areas. He focuses his practice on representing management in litigation involving wage and hour disputes, breach of contract, unfair competition, race and national origin discrimination, harassment, and disability discrimination. Cullen also represents and counsels employers in labor matters related to arbitrations and unfair labor practice cases, as well as general commercial litigation. Cullen graduated cum laudefrom Emory University School of Law, where he received awards for outstanding achievement in Negotiations and Disability Discrimination.
