San’s practice focuses on employee benefits, executive and equity compensation (including related tax and fiduciary issues), and ERISA. His experience includes advising clients on a variety of issues involving benefit plans of all types such as qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, welfare benefit plans (including compliance with the Affordable Care Act), flexible benefit plans and executive and equity compensation plans. San also routinely advises the firm’s corporate clients on a broad array of compensation, employee benefits and employment matters in connection with corporate mergers, reorganizations, spin-offs and other significant transactions.
San received his B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Boston University and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, San worked as a consultant in the Global Employer Services group at Deloitte Tax LLP in New York and as an associate in the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits group at Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A. in New Jersey. More recently, San was an associate in the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Practice at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York.
San is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. Not licensed in North Carolina.
