Tobias S. Hampson

Toby focuses on appellate and civil litigation focusing primarily on cases before the North Carolina State Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Toby joined Wyrick Robbins’ Appellate Practice Group in 2007. Following law school, Toby served as law clerk to the Honorable K. Edward Greene, the Honorable Wanda Bryant, and the Honorable Bob Hunter of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He then entered private practice with another law firm in Raleigh, North Carolina where he focused on civil litigation and appellate matters.

Toby received his B.A. in International Studies and History with honors from the American University and his J.D. with honors from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law where he served as the Notes and Comments editor of the Campbell Law Review. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Order of Barristers.
