Emerging Companies/Venture Capital Attorney (5+ years)

Position Details

Wyrick Robbins is seeking an associate with 5+ years of relevant law firm experience to join its market-leading Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practices. The group represents venture capital firms and corporate-venture capital investors in national and international transactions. The group also represents companies ranging from early-stage startups to mature industry leaders, including many of the region’s premier venture-backed companies, in financing transactions and a variety of other corporate matters. The group also handles fund formation matters. The firm has a collegial office environment with leading practitioners on sophisticated matters at a regional, national and even international level.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate ambition and initiative and should have the stated years of relevant law firm experience working with emerging growth companies and/or working on venture capital or other investment transactions, and should have literacy with financial matters and spreadsheets.

NC Bar admission preferred. Outstanding undergraduate and law school academics.  Excellent written, analytical and verbal skills required.
