RALEIGH, NC – Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton LLP is pleased to announce that it has named Amy Risseeuw as Practice Group Leader of the firm’s newly formed M&A practice group. Ms. Risseeuw has focused primarily on M&A transactions throughout her 13 years of practice, including since she joined Wyrick Robbins in October of 2010.

Ms. Risseeuw represents corporate and private equity clients in transactions across a range of industries. She works with private equity clients in connection with leveraged acquisitions, divestitures, control and non-control investments and secondary sale transactions. She represents corporate clients as buyers and sellers in public and private M&A transactions. She also provides advice to corporate clients in connection with corporate governance and general business matters.
Prior to joining Wyrick Robbins in 2010, Ms. Risseeuw practiced in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and the Chicago office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. She has also served as a Lecturing Fellow at Duke University School of Law. She received her J.D. and Master of Laws degrees with honors from Duke University School of Law.
