Wyrick Robbins Announces Addition of David N. Jonson
RALEIGH, NC—Wyrick Robbins is pleased to announce David N. Jonson has joined the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group as Special Counsel.
David’s practice will concentrate in the area of securities law, representing broker-dealers, investment advisers, and financial service providers in numerous aspects of federal, state, and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) compliance and defense. David has defended multiple broker-dealers and their agents in FINRA arbitrations involving millions of dollars in potential liability, and has represented financial services professionals in federal, state, and self-regulatory organization investigations and enforcement actions.
David earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and received his B.A. cum laude from Washington & Lee University. Prior to joining the firm, David was a partner at another Raleigh law firm. He also served previously as Deputy Attorney General and Deputy Securities Commissioner for the State of South Carolina. Early in his legal career, David spent his first year in private practice at Wyrick Robbins as an associate.
