Jenna’s practice focuses on labor and employment law, government contracting law, and litigation.
She regularly counsels clients on a wide variety of employment-related matters, including hiring, worker classification, wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence, workplace discrimination and harassment, disciplinary actions, employee terminations and reductions in force. Although Jenna concentrates her practice on compliance assistance and managing risks proactively, Jenna’s experience also includes representing employers in labor and employment disputes, including lawsuits filed in state and federal courts, as well as proceedings before administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor and the National Labor Relations Board.
Jenna’s government contracting experience includes advising and representing businesses on matters unique to government contractors, including small business programs, protests and other disputes before the U.S. Small Business Administration, U.S. Government Accountability Office and U.S. Court of Federal Claims, as well as contract disputes and terminations.
Jenna received her B.A., cum laude, from Tulane University. She received her law degree with high honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a member of the Order of the Coif.
Jenna is admitted to practice before the state courts of North Carolina, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
