Clayton R. Williams
Clay is a member of the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice group. He focuses on the benefits and compensation structures critical for recruitment and retention. He regularly advises clients on plan development, implementation and compliance with respect to ERISA, ACA, 409A, and the numerous other provisions impacting benefit plans and executive compensation. He also regularly advises clients on benefits and compensation matters during all stages of corporate transactions.
Clay attended Georgetown Law where he received his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation. He served on the City Council of Hyattsville, Maryland, and later the Board of The Learning Collaborative, a nonprofit located in Grier Heights that prepares underserved children and their families for success in school by providing a tuition-free, high-quality preschool education. He is currently a den leader with the local cub scout pack.
Clay received his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was principal bassist with the UNC Symphony.
