Silvia Y. Alvarez

Silvia began her career in the legal field in 2016 and joined Wyrick in 2023.  She brings a unique perspective to our firm as a dedicated member of our family law practice group. Originally from Mexico, Silvia immigrated to the United States as a child, which instilled in her a resilience and determination that define her approach to assisting clients.  Fluent in both Spanish and English, Silvia bridges cultural and linguistic gaps to ensure that every client receives comprehensive and compassionate representation. Her bilingual proficiency enables her to effectively communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds, providing them with the clarity and support they need.

Robert Ponton began our Family Law practice in 1980. He and Heidi Bloom are fellows in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a national organization requiring an invitation from the members to join, which includes 37 members in North Carolina and many of the leading family law attorneys throughout the United States.
