Client Alert: Health Care Reform Legislation Includes Tax Credit and Grant Program for Therapeutic Discovery Projects

The Wyrick Robbins Tax Practice Group and Life Sciences Industry Team have issued a Client Alert (101 KB) providing an overview of a therapeutic discovery project tax credit and grant program that is included in the Health Care reform legislation recently enacted by the Federal government. While many of the details regarding administration of the program have yet to be formulated, this client alert recommends that the firm’s life science clients begin to review their research projects against the stated criteria and start to collect information and analysis in support of preparing for the announcement of the application process.
