Wyrick Robbins attorneys L. Diane Tindall, Mary M. Williams and J. Kellam Warren have released the Fall 2009 issue of The Resource: A Legal Newsletter for Employers & Human Resource Professionals.
This issue urges employers to have in place a carefully written policy addressing personal relationships between co-workers. Guidance is offered in the form of a Letterman-esque “Top Ten Reasons Why You Should Worry About Workplace Romances.”
The newsletter also includes a special client alert regarding recent legislation which further expands provisions of the Family and Medical Leave Act relating to exigency and caregiver leave for military families.
