On January 18, the Town of Wake Forest honored Chairman of the Wyrick Robbins Commercial Real Estate practice, Eric Vernon, for his 31 years of dedicated service as town attorney. Wake Forest Mayor Vivian Jones presented him with an engraved plaque and heartfelt thanks at last Tuesday’s Board of Commissioners meeting, commemorating his decades of service.
A surprised and flattered Mr. Vernon graciously accepted the award, congratulating new town attorney, Hassan Kingsberry, and reflecting upon his succession of another long-standing former town attorney, Ellis Nassif. Eric shared that he was honored to have had the opportunity to serve the many boards of commissioners and Wake Forest citizens over the years, adding simply that “There couldn’t be a better way to be a lawyer than to serve the citizens of this town.”
Congratulations, Eric!
