Corporate attorney Larry Robbins spoke with Triangle Inno‘s Lauren Ohnesorge regarding Congress’s decision not to extend Section 174 of the tax code, a key tax provision tied to expenses for research and development. Alongside a number of investors and consultants to the Triangle’s scaling companies, Robbins expressed concern noting the tax changes (and hefty bills) are coming “at an already-bad time for early-stage software companies with high research and development expenses”.
