Raleigh, NC – Wyrick Robbins is pleased to announce that it is once again accepting applications for the firm’s Diversity Scholarship. First launched in 2020, the scholarship for law students is an important part of the firm’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Wyrick Robbins recognizes that people are its greatest resource, and seeks to recruit, retain and promote a diverse group of talented attorneys so it can build stronger teams and a stronger firm.
“We are proud to offer our Diversity Scholarship for a fourth consecutive year. We continue our commitment to building a more diverse workplace and to advancing diversity in the legal profession by supporting diverse law students from the outset of their legal careers,” said the firm’s Managing Partner, Todd Eveson.
The Wyrick Robbins Diversity Scholarship is open to first year, diverse law students. It includes a paid summer clerkship as part of the firm’s 2023 summer associate program. The recipient also is eligible for a $20,000 scholarship. In addition to receiving practical, hands-on experience and financial support, the recipient will be paired with at least two attorney mentors from the firm.
Applications will be considered based on a variety of factors, including academic and professional credentials, a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal profession and North Carolina communities, and interest in the firm and its practice areas. More information on the scholarship and how to apply can be found on the Wyrick Robbins Diversity Scholarship page of our website. The application deadline is January 13, 2023.
