Wyrick Robbins Achieves Mansfield Certification

Wyrick Robbins is proud to announce that the firm has achieved certification under Diversity Lab’s Midsize Mansfield Rule. The Mansfield Certification is designed to increase and sustain the number of attorneys from historically underrepresented groups working in and leading law firms through a science-driven method that embeds accountability, transparency, and knowledge sharing into talent practices.

During the Mansfield Certification process, Wyrick Robbins was measured on whether it affirmatively considered at least 30% historically underrepresented lawyers for 60% or more of all hiring searches and openings, equity partner promotions, firm governance and managing partner roles, and formal client meetings and presentations as well as whether it established transparent job responsibilities and election processes for governance roles over an 18-month certification period that began in September 2021. The Mansfield Rule treats racial/ethnic minority attorneys, female attorneys, LGBTQ+ attorneys, and attorneys with disabilities as historically underrepresented.

The Mansfield framework has supported Wyrick Robbins’ overall efforts to ensure that it approaches talent planning, leadership, and business development in an inclusive, structured, and intentional manner. Managing Partner Todd Eveson said, “We are honored to have received this certification and recognize that our work does not end here.
