Wyrick Robbins Makes List of Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America

The Wyrick Robbins wellness program, Well-being is Elemental, focuses on five essential elements: social, physical, career, financial, and community. With benefits such as in-house seminars, biometric screenings, health assessments, wellness challenges, individual health coaching, gym membership allowance, and more, employees report the firm’s program has been influential in their wellness goal achievement.
Additionally, the firm has seen a significant reduction in insurance premiums at a time when premiums nationwide have been steadily on the rise. Employees’ biometric statistics trend lower than national norms in most measurements. “Our firm simply provides the support and resources—our people put in the effort and deliver the results, which speak for themselves,” Yates says.
Debbie Zievis, who manages the firm’s benefits program, is most excited when employees are empowered through program participation. “One of our attorneys, Jack Magee, performed lifesaving CPR on an individual he witnessed in cardiac arrest. Jack attributed being able to jump into action because of the training he received as a part of the wellness program and wondered how he would have felt if he had stood there helpless,” she shared.
An awards ceremony was held at the Fitbit Captivate event in Chicago on September 20.
