RALEIGH, NC—Wyrick Robbins is pleased to announce that the firm was recently selected by theTriangle Business Journal to receive a Healthiest Employer Award for 2011. The firm ranked sixth out of twenty companies in the Triangle that were recognized for their commitment to making employee health a top priority.
In 2011, Wyrick Robbins began a wellness program that included a fitness challenge, biometric screenings, health assessments, individual health coaching, an expanded gym membership allowance, and the opportunity for full-time staff to have up to 2.5 hours during paid work time each week to exercise.
“Firm-wide health and individual well-being are firm priorities. We wanted to be more proactive and supportive by providing the education, time, and incentives to drive participation by all,” said firm Managing Partner Jimmy Yates. “The participation and feedback from our people have been overwhelmingly positive. Now we need to take our program to the next level.”
