Emily is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group, where she represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of commercial disputes. Emily has experience litigating contract and business tort disputes, defending products liability claims, and representing healthcare companies and providers in federal and state courts throughout the country.
Prior to joining the firm, Emily clerked for the Honorable William Q. Hayes, United States District Judge for the Southern District of California. Emily graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law, and received her B.A. from the State University of New York at Geneseo. During law school, Emily served as a Form & Accuracy Editor of the Syracuse Law Review.
Emily is admitted to practice in the state courts of North Carolina, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, and the state courts of New York.
