Josey is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Government Contracting practice groups and represents clients in federal and state courts, including the North Carolina Business Court. Her experience includes representing individuals and businesses across an array of industries in complex commercial litigation, including contract and business tort disputes, as well as bid protests and other government contracting matters, and serving as local counsel.
 
Prior to joining the firm, Josey began her career at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina as a law clerk to the Honorable Louise W. Flanagan. Josey graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she served as an editorial staff member of the Wake Forest Law Review and a teaching assistant for Business Organizations and Legal Writing for Judicial Chambers.
 
Josey is admitted to practice before the state courts of North Carolina, the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of North Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
