Josey is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group. She represents both businesses and individuals across an array of industries in state and federal courts. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including contract and business tort disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Josey began her career at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina as a law clerk to the Honorable Louise W. Flanagan. Josey graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she served as an editorial staff member of the Wake Forest Law Review and a teaching assistant for Business Organizations and Legal Writing for Judicial Chambers.

Josey is admitted to practice before the state courts of North Carolina and the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of North Carolina.
