Bio

Katy is a member of the firm’s Investment Funds and Capital Markets practice groups. Her practice focuses on advising institutional investor clients on all aspects of their investments in and alongside private equity and other private investment funds, including representation in connection with co-investments, secondary transactions and continuation funds. She also represents borrowers and lenders in commercial finance transactions.

Katy graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was a staff member of the Wake Forest Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Katy earned her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in the Banking & Finance group of an international law firm where her practice centered on fund finance.
