Meryl M. Murtagh
Bio
Meryl practices in the areas of venture capital, corporate law, and private equity. She advises companies and investment funds from initial formation through the life cycle of a fund, on co-investments and strategic partnerships, as well as in general corporate matters. Meryl’s experience includes investment regulatory and internal compliance reviews, as well as corporate governance and ESG investment programs.
Meryl joined the firm after working in-house for an institutional investor. She received her J.D. cum laude from American University Washington College of Law, and she also holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Boston University and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from American University. She is a member of the North Carolina and New York state bars.
