Bio

Shin is a member of the firm’s Capital Markets and Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice groups. His practice focuses on assisting clients on corporate governance, securities offerings, reporting requirements, early-stage financing and venture capital, strategic transactions, and general corporate law. Shin primarily works with clients in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced in the Private Funds and Capital Markets groups at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York.

Shin earned his B.A. in political science and economics at Wake Forest University, magna cum laude, and his J.D. at UNC School of Law with High Honors and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Prior to law school, he worked at a global biotechnology company.
