Shin Song

Bio

Shin is a member of the firm’s Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice group. His practice focuses on high-growth businesses, representing both early-stage companies and investors. Shin advises clients on venture capital and other financings, corporate governance, securities issues, strategic transactions, and exits. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced in the Private Funds and Capital Markets groups at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York.

Shin earned his B.A. in political science and economics at Wake Forest University, magna cum laude, and his J.D. at UNC School of Law with High Honors and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Prior to law school, he worked at a global biotechnology company.
