Bio

Stephen is a member of the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Practice Group and focuses his practice on the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, leasing and management of commercial real property across a wide variety of asset classes, including office, retail, industrial, laboratory, multi-family, and solar.  Mr. Perry regularly represents clients with respect to complex transactions involving real estate in North Carolina and across the broader United States, and also has significant experience working with governmental agencies and municipal bodies in North Carolina to help his clients achieve their goals and objectives.

Stephen received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from UNC Chapel Hill. He received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law with High Honors, and is a member of the Order of the Coif. During law school, Stephen served as a staff member of the North Carolina Law Review.

Before joining the firm, Stephen practiced in the Raleigh office of a large international law firm and served as judicial intern for the Honorable Malcolm J. Howard in the Eastern District of North Carolina.
