RALEIGH, NC—Wyrick Robbins served as legal counsel to its client, Carolina Bank Holdings, Inc. in connection with the company’s proposed acquisition by First Bancorp. First Bancorp, the parent company of First Bank, announced the signing of a definitive merger agreement under which First Bancorp will acquire Carolina Bank Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Carolina Bank, in a cash and stock transaction with a total current value of approximately $97.3 million.
