Lynn C. Percival IV dedicates his practice to privacy and data security. His experience includes representation of organizations in the retail, technology, financial, and health care sectors, among others. He advises clients on compliance with a multitude of privacy and data security laws, such as HIPAA, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, GDPR, the Video Privacy Protection Act, the FCRA, CAN-SPAM, COPPA, the Wiretap Act, the Stored Communications Act, and state privacy and data security laws. Lynn received his B.S. from East Carolina University and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Campbell University, where he served as the Editor in Chief of the Campbell Law Review, was a member of the McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Team, and was inducted into the Order of Old Kivett.
Brian T. Sullivan practices in the areas of capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital, and corporate law. He advises companies and venture capital and private equity funds in matters ranging from initial formation and general corporate matters to financings and mergers & acquisitions. Brian earned his law degree with high honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a member of the Order of the Coif. He was a published member of the North Carolina Law Review and later served as the Publication Editor. Before law school, Brian spent two years working for a major international accounting firm in New York City. Brian graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Psychology.
Devon E. White leads the firm’s IP Prosecution & Protection practice group. Her practice focuses on domestic and international trademark protection and branding strategies and enforcement. She has been ranked in the Top Individual filers in the US as compiled by Corsearch (a Wolters Kluwer business) based on the total number of filings in 2015, 2016, and 2017. Devon also has been the Clinical Faculty Supervisor of the UNC School of Law IP Clinic from its launch in 2014. Devon received her B.A. and M.A. with honors in English from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. She earned her J.D. with honors from the North Carolina Central University School of Law.
