Charles Archie is a member of the firm’s Commercial Real Estate practice group. His practice focuses on a wide range of commercial real estate-related transactions, including commercial lease drafting and negotiation, buyer and seller-side real estate purchases and sales, real estate finance, planned developments, and local government matters. Charles is certified to provide title counsel and resolve title issues for buyers, sellers, and lenders.
Katie Ertmer is a corporate lawyer who works in the areas of company formation, corporate financing, product financing, and complex intellectual property collaborations. Katie represents companies and investors of all sizes in transactions involving venture capital investments, private placements, royalty financings, and strategic partnerships.
Joe Kimmet’s practice focuses on federal and state tax planning and partnership and limited liability company law. He regularly advises clients with respect to business formations and mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. He also has experience representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities.
Alex Pearce is a Board Certified Specialist in Privacy and Information Security Law. He dedicates his practice to privacy and data security law and helps businesses in a wide variety of industries by designing and helping to implement compliance programs, counseling on data use and data monetization strategies, and advising on privacy and data security issues in commercial contracts and corporate transactions. He also assists clients in responding to privacy and data security incidents, and to the regulatory inquiries and investigations that can often follow.
Christopher Poe’s practice focuses on corporate transactions. He helps businesses of all sizes and in all stages of development, from organization to exit, and often serves as outside general counsel for emerging growth companies. He assists startups with financings, including angel and venture fundings, and advises them on securities issues. He also works with venture capital and private equity funds in their formation and investment activities.
